Gladstone Power Station

The Gladstone Power Station is operated by NRG Gladstone Operating Services, and contributes 1,680 megawatts (6 x 280) capacity to the Queensland power grid.

Built with great foresight and opened in 1976, the power station allowed much of the industry now based in the Gladstone region to become viable.

The station employs more than 320 local people, making it an important economic contributor to the Gladstone region.
